Unsolved Case Files: Ivey, Sandra - Cold Case Murder Mystery Game

Unsolved Case Files is a murder mystery game that allows you to solve a fictitious murder investigation just like a detective. On August 10th, 2021, the world's first commercial space station, the Delta One, loses power and all communication with ground control for 28 minutes. During the blackout, a mysterious accident claims the life of Sandra Ivey, the CEO of Astro IV, the multi-billion dollar space tech company responsible for launching the station.

There were five other crew members aboard the Delta One, and none claim to know what happened to Sandra while the power was out. Sandra's former chief of security, Solomon Hart, was sent skyward to investigate, but given only 24 hours aboard the Delta One to make his case. Though it was officially ruled an accident, he suspects there's more to this story than meets the eye.

Can you help Solomon find out what really happened to Sandra?

This unsolved case lives, and you are tasked with solving three objectives to convict the killer. You'll need to find clues and evidence in the case file, use online answer keys to check if you've found the right evidence, and open extra envelopes with additional documents to get your next objective.

The case includes realistic cold case materials such as newspaper clippings, police documentation, crime scene photographs, and various extra documents and materials picked up by the original homicide detective during the investigation.

Gameplay time varies greatly depending on the number of players, deductive abilities, and pure luck. Most teams of 2 or more players take 2-6 hours to solve the case. There is no limit to the number of players who can solve a case, but more than 6 may consider splitting into teams, each with their own case.
