Unsolved Case Files is a murder mystery game that allows you to solve a fictional cold case just like a detective. On April 3rd, 1989, local car salesman Buddy Edmunds was found dead on the living room floor. Although there were 5 suspects in the case, local deputies eventually arrested and convicted his wife, Candy Lee Edmunds, for the crime. The problem is, Candy didn't kill Buddy. Your job is to prove her innocence and help deputies find the real killer. Are you up to the challenge?

The 1989 cold case remains unsolved. This case file includes newspaper clippings, police documentation, crime scene photographs, and various extra materials from the original homicide investigation, allowing you to feel like a real detective. Gameplay time varies greatly depending on the number of players, deductive abilities, and luck, but most teams of 2 or more players take 2-6 hours to complete.

To solve the case, you'll need to find clues and evidence in the case file to accomplish three objectives that will lead you to convict the killer. After completing each objective, you'll open an extra envelope with additional evidence and your next objective. Once you've solved the 3rd objective, you'll close the case and put the murderer behind bars.

This murder mystery game is written for adults but is appropriate for mature teens, aiming for a "PG-13" level of language and content. There is no limit to the number of players who can solve a case, though more than 8 may consider splitting into teams, each with their own case.
